Picnic Area
Open to everyone from 9am until 6.30pm! Bring a picnic, grab an ice cream and enjoy the rural area whilst watching the animals. Whether you’re visiting from afar, or from the local area you’ll enjoy some time out with us.
Local Walks
Pomeroy is situated perfectly for everyone to explore! Whether you’re after a light stroll or something more adventurous, we are situated just right! Please ask a member of staff for walking information.
Ice Cream
Open every day April-October from 9am, 14 flavours of our artisan ice cream is hand scooped in our onsite shop. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see if our Ice cream trailer is at an event near you!
Petting Area
We offer a FREE petting area for you to visit! From guinea pigs and rabbits to pygmy goats, mini cows and mini donkeys there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Inside our onsite shop you’ll find animal food to share around.
Cycle Trail
With direct access to the High Peak/ Tissington Trail and the Pennine bridleway so much of the beautiful countryside can be explored. Dogs, horses and more are very much welcome!
Facilities
Are you camping with us? We have an onsite shower and toilet block with underfloor heating, disabled toilets and an extra bonus of a family bathroom with a bath included! A pot wash and washing area is just next door, with information about the local area inside.

WHO ARE WE?
We are a small, family-run dairy farm in the heart of the Peak District. We have an idyllic camping and caravan site, and also produce our own artisan ice cream. From the campsite, there are many local walks to enjoy including having direct easy access onto the High Peak Trail. This means there is no need to go on any roads to access the trail, so it is a much safer option for families and cyclists who want to experience our lovely countryside. We have an onsite reception and small shop where you can sample a flavour or two of our lovely ice cream. We also sell a variety of food and camping essentials, aswell as selected local produce.
Local day trips to historic towns and places of interest are easy to arrange and include well-known; Ashbourne, Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton, Chatsworth and many other charismatic villages.
